Data Stored on Your Device

Expert Currency stores your selected currency pairs, preferences, cached exchange rates, and related app settings on your device. This allows features such as offline conversion to continue working when an internet connection is unavailable.

This locally stored app data is not collected by the developer.

Region-Based Defaults

Expert Currency can use your device's region setting to choose a useful starting currency. For example, a device set to the United Arab Emirates may initially use AED.

The app does not require your precise location and does not need to send your device region to the developer to provide this feature.

Exchange-Rate Requests

When Expert Currency refreshes market data, it connects to external data providers to retrieve currency, precious-metal, and cryptocurrency rates.

As with standard internet requests, those providers and your internet service provider may receive technical connection information, such as an IP address, as necessary to deliver the requested data.

Expert Currency does not use these requests for advertising, analytics, tracking, profiling, or building a user profile.

Apple Features and Services

Expert Currency supports Apple platform features including widgets, Apple Watch, Messages, accessibility features, Family Sharing, and App Store purchases.

Information handled directly by Apple through its services is governed by Apple's applicable terms and privacy policies.

Accounts, Advertising and Analytics

Expert Currency does not require you to create an account. The app does not contain advertising and does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs to track your activity.

This Privacy Policy may be updated if Expert Currency's features, services, or data practices change. The current version of the policy will always be available on this page.
